Since 1960, constantly evolving
Omec's history begins in the early 1960s: challenges won, successes achieved and goals yet to be written.
In 2004 OMEC entered the Automotive Aftermarket with a critical eye on the quality of its products, specialising mainly in engine pulleys and timing chain kits.
1960
Evelino Cesana founded Omec Industry, a production company operating in the pharmaceutical, food and industrial sectors.
1991
The founder's children, Laura, Simona and Alberto, join the family business.
1997
Omec gets first ISO 9001:2015 Quality system certification
2004
Omec S.r.l. joins the automotive aftermarket
2011
Market launch of the MABYPARTS brand for the distribution of spare parts in Italy and Europe.
2014
Creation and launch of the EXIS brand on the automotive aftermarket.
2015
Omec becomes an EU and international registered trademark.
2018
Tests carried out in Omec's quality laboratory receive TÜV approval
